“We worked our [bleep] off but it always makes it easy when you’re having a laugh as well. Vanessa ran over my finger and I fell pretty hard as well, but here we are!”

He later shared a picture of his injured finger, showing he wasn’t too badly hurt. And a string of laughing face emojis suggested he was A-OK!

And getting his finger trapped under an ice skate and falling weren’t the only blows Jake suffered during training.

He also shared a video to Stories revealing he’d managed to knock himself between the legs.

Ouch, not your day, eh Jake?

It’s a better week than last week, however, when Jake was left training without Vanessa after she came down with a viral infection.

He was banned from seeing her for 72 hours while she recovered, meaning they missed out on valuable practice time on the ice.

Not that you’d know when Sunday came around!

As well as flawlessly pulling off the first headbanger of the series, the pair once again topped the leaderboard, proving they’re the ones to beat!

They earned a huge 36 out of 40 points after all four judges – Jason Gardiner, Ashley Banjo, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean – gave them nine points apiece.
