Dan Osborne mortified as failed singing ‘career’ is revealed

Wedding revelation has former TOWIE star blushing

Most bridegrooms cower with dread when their best man gets up to do his speech at the wedding, in anticipation of the skeletons that are about to be dragged out of the closet.

And former TOWIE star Dan Osborne, 26, was no different when he recently tied the knot with EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa, 24.

Dan’s bestie was his younger brother, Ryan, 24 – and the mickey-taking came thick and fast. Describing Dan as “not the sharpest knife in the drawer”, Ryan went on to mock his brother’s vanity, saying, “I would compliment Dan but he’s not stopped telling us how good he looks this morning!”

But one thing in particular had Dan hiding behind his hands with horror – the reminder that he’d once embarked on an ill-fated R&B career.

That in itself would be enough to make most blokes blush – but cruel Ryan didn’t stop there.

He even played a track that Dan had recorded, as the wedding guests fell about in hysterics.

Game-for-a-laugh Jacqueline played along with the prank, getting up to dance along to the tune as her new husband waited for the ground to swallow him up.

Dan and Jacqueline exchanged vows at the gorgeous Delamere Manor in Cheshire – once owned by Gary Barlow – before busting a few moves with their 170 guests until 4.30am.

Those in attendance included Jacqueline’s EastEnders co-stars Jake Wood and Jo Joyner, who play her on-screen mum and dad.

The loved-up couple then jetted off for a honeymoon in Nerja, Spain, taking Ella with them.

As we previously reported on Entertainment Daily, Dan and Jacqueline recently had to deny rumours that the actress was expecting another baby.

After posting an Instagram picture of themselves with their daughter Ella alongside the words “3/4 of the Osborne clan!”, fans speculated whether this meant there was a fourth member of the family on the way.

But Dan and Jacqueline hastily pointed out that the missing ‘quarter’ was in fact Dan’s son from a previous relationship, Teddy.
