Corrie’s Lucy Fallon shares beautiful birthday tribute to her lookalike sister

Snaps of them together reveal how close they are

We imagine Lucy Fallon’s been under a lot of pressure recently, what with having to play child-grooming victim Bethany Platt in Coronation Street.

So it’s nice to see that she’s able to take a breather from the difficult storyline once in a while.

To celebrate her older sister Laura’s birthday, the Blackpool-born actress, 21, has posted a bunch of pictures of the two girls having fun together.

And it’s fair to say that they look like two peas in a pod!

In one of the pics, the sisters are obviously preparing to celebrate Laura’s hen party, as big sis is wearing a mock wedding gown with a banner saying “bride to be”.

Lucy stands alongside her in a 1960s-style, figure-hugging green number.

Both of the girls are wearing their blonde hair long – and if it wasn’t for the fact that Lucy isn’t married, you’d have a job telling which one’s which!

Both Lucy and mother-of-two Laura are used to performing – the older Fallon is a professional dancer.

And in a second photo, the pair pull their best ‘shocked’ faces for the camera as they parascend together at a beach resort.

A third addition to the gallery shows the girls at a restaurant. This time, Lucy makes it easier to tell the girls apart by wearing her hair up.

And there’s even one of the sisters cuddling their little nephew. Ahhh.

Alongside the pics, the actress has tweeted: “Happiest of bdays to my fabbyyy sister. Love you foreva.”

As for Lucy’s day job – well, it looks like things are finally looking up for poor old Bethany.

The abused teenager had been sick with worry that her rapists would never face justice for their crimes.

But in a brilliant twist in Friday night’s episode, Beth’s friend, rookie cop Craig, tricked his evil boss Neil into making a confession.

Now surely it’s only a matter of time before Beth can finally start to rebuild her life.
