Corrie’s Brooke Vincent reveals painful ironing injury

Brooke Vincent has been left with a red mark on her arm after burning herself on an iron.

The Coronatrion Street actress took to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday to tell her fans that she accidentally forgot to iron the arms of her t-shirt so tried to do it while she was wearing it.

Do NOT try that at home, people!

Perhaps inevitably, Brooke, who plays Sophie Webster in the soap, ended up burning her arm instead.

She posted a photo showing the mark on the top of her arm.

Brooke, 26, explained: “When you forget to iron the arms of your t-shirt so you try and do it whilst you’ve got it on.

“But end up burning your arm,” followed by a string of sad face emojis.

Just a few days ago, Brooke joined her Corrie co-stars at the soap’s annual summer party.

The bash was held in The Victoria Warehouse in Manchester, which had been turned into the soap’s high school.

Brooke posted a snap to Instagram showing herself, Sam Aston (Chesney Brown), Colson Smith (Craig Tinker), Lucy Fallon (Bethany Platt) and Ellie Leach (Faye Windass).

The photo sees the stars posing in front of a sign that read: “Weatherfield High School.”

Brooke captioned the shot: “When you bump into school Friends! #weathyhigh #reunion.”

The following morning, Brooke took to Twitter to reflect on the wild night.

She wrote: “I had a great night at our works party, singing away.. living my best life.. until I realised they turned my mic off.”

Meanwhile, Brooke has spent the summer living it up abroad with her family and footballer boyfriend Kean Bryan.

In June, Brooke and Kean enjoyed a few days in Mykonos before jetting off the Portugal where they did jet skiing, went to a water park and went quad biking.

Last month, Brooke soaked up the sun in Ibiza with her lookalike mum, Nicola.

The actress shared two pictures with her mum showing the pair cuddling up to one another at a bar on the island.

Brooke captioned the post: “Hottest Chick In The Game Wearing My Chain, Momma You A 10.”

And fans couldn’t agree more as they gushed over how youthful Nicola looked.

One person said: “Wow that’s your sister surely? She looks incredible!” while another gushed: “Surely that’s not your Mum, thought it was your sister.”
