Corrie SPOILER: Tracy Barlow to frame Abi Franklin for horror death

Abi is about to find herself in a whole world of trouble

Coronation Street’s Abi Franklin is about to face serious trouble when Tracy Barlow lets her take the blame for the sabotage on Michelle Connor’s car.

Last night’s trip to Weatherfield saw Tracy tinker with Michelle’s car while it was in the garage, hoping that it might lead to mechanic Abi getting into trouble later down the line.

Despite the fact Tracy and Abi are supposed to be friends, Tracy has become convinced that Abi and Steve are having a secret fling, and last night’s car sabotage was all in a bid to get revenge.

But little does Tracy know, her actions have some very serious consequences when Michelle and her boys Ali and Ryan are caught up in a high-speed car chase with Ronan, who wants revenge for Cormack’s death.

The drama quickly escalates and it turns out that Tracy’s silly games leave one person dead after Michelle’s car breaks down mid car chase and leaves her, Ali and Ryan like sitting ducks as a vengeful Ronan catches up with them.

In explosive scenes that are set to air this week, Tracy will be oblivious to the damage she has caused. But it has been revealed that next week sees the police arrive at the garage asking questions…

The police ask Kevin about Michelle’s car, revealing that it was involved in a fatal car accident. But the garage owner is adamant that while Abi is the one who serviced the car, she is a trusted member of staff.

But with Tracy bound to keep quiet about her involvement in the car tampering, it looks like Abi is about to find herself in a whole world of trouble.

Kate Ford who plays Tracy recently told TV Times: “Tracy’s instinct when she finds out about the crash is to cover her own back. But in doing so, she throws Abi to the wolves.”

Will Tracy come clean when she realises how much trouble Abi is in? Or will she let her friend go down for her crimes?

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
