Anna Windass is set to take David Platt to court after the horror accident he caused that left her with severe burns to her legs.
David’s been keeping himself to himself since the incident, trying not to ruffle too many feathers – which isn’t easy when you’re David Platt.
But this news is set to come as a shock to him, especially as it looked like all had been forgiven and forgotten.
After David crashed his car on the cobbles, both Gary Windass and Kevin Webster made threats against him, but the world’s smallest spanner didn’t have much impact on David, and it seemed as if everyone had moved on.

But suddenly Kevin’s found himself in a bit of a financial pickle after Sophie’s medical bills, his ‘missing’ pick up truck (that Phelan stole), and the garage burning down (thanks again to Phelan).
When Kev discovers Tyrone’s given the repairing the garage contract to Phelan, he’s fuming. As the friends fight, an under pressure Kevin ends up punching Tyrone.
Needing to come up with a solution to his cash crisis quickly, Kevin hits upon the idea that his partner Anna could be the answer to his problems.
He visits her at work and suggests she sue David for damages.
Anna’s uneasy about going down that route, but agrees to talk to someone to get some advice on what they would have to do.
Cue Adam Barlow, who’s handily around to give her his opinion.
He explains to her how she would go about making a personal injury claim, but then comes the difficult bit – she would have to photograph her injuries.

With her recent insecurities about how she looks, this is devastating news for Anna, and she’s just not sure she can go through with it.
She arranges to meet David anyway, which unnerves him. How will he take the news he might be sued?
