Mel B and her husband of a decade Stephen Belafonte have, apparently, called time on their marriage.
The couple enjoyed a whirlwind romance in 2007, tying the knot after just five months of dating.

According to People Magazine, Mel listed the date of separation as December 28 and she has requested joint legal and physical custody of their five-year-old daughter, Madison Brown Belafonte.
It’s been reported the Mel cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ in legal papers.
This has come as something of a surprise as, just six weeks ago, singer Mel expressed her love for the film producer by saying: “You loved me before I even knew how to really love myself.”
She shared a picture of her kissing her hubby’s cheek, as she wrote: “My baby boo @stephenthinks11 we have been through everything that would normally tear couples apart.
“You are my world honey.”
This unexpected news comes just weeks after her father passed away, following a five-year battle with multiple myeloma cancer.
The tragic event prompted the 41-year-old and her her estranged sister, Danielle to reconcile.
Posting a heartbreaking photo on Instagram, the pair asked fans to “respect our privacy and let us as a united family grieve”.

A source told The Sun: “Mel is finally back in touch with her family and everyone is thrilled.
“It took for Mel to realise that life was too short to keep this going.
“She’s really pleased she took the step of finally reaching out to them.”
