How scary!

Christine Lampard has recalled how a “weird” feeling led to her saving husband Frank’s life.

The television presenter told OK! magazine she’d been out at a coffee shop with Frank, 39, when she got an eerie feeling something bad was about to happen.

Christine, 39, explained how a “huge chunk of metal” then fell from scaffolding just moments after she pushed Frank out of the way.

She said: “I get really weird feelings about places. I saved Frank from some scaffolding.

“I was utterly convinced something was going to happen at this coffee shop I walk past every day. We were walking and I said, ‘I feel really funny about that scaffolding. I can see it falling down.’

“We went in, got the coffee, and I said, ‘Frank, I swear something is going to happen.’ And I gave him a shove and, as I pushed him into the road, this huge clump of stuff fell off.

“We would have been killed, 100 per cent. It was a huge chunk of metal.”

It’s not the first time Northern Irish presenter Christine has spoken out about having premonitions.

Recalling her scaffolding experience on Loose Women recently, she said: “It happened right in front of us. I knew it was going to happen. One of those really awful moments where you thin, ‘it’s going to happen, it really is.’

“It fell right in the road. A bus had to swerve around, it stopped, the driver got out to check we were all okay. It was a weird moment.”

She also revealed how she’s been stopped in the street by people who say she was an “aura” about her.

“It happened twice on separate occasions when we were in New York,” she said.

“I had two people who claimed to be psychics who came up to me in the street and said, ‘I have a feeling you are psychic and you don’t know you are.’ It happened twice. Total strangers. Randomly in the street. I was just walking and they said, ‘there’s an aura about you.'”

Meanwhile, the star also said she firmly believes in destiny, and used the example of how she met Frank.

“I do believe in destiny and I think things happen for a reason,” she said.

“I think in relationships destiny can play a big part. I met Frank completely by surprise at the Pride of Britain Awards. He wasn’t supposed to be there that night, I wasn’t supposed to there that night. I arrived late and he happened to be at a table with people I knew. Just little things were you think, ‘that’s odd.'”

Christine and Frank met in 2009 and married in 2015.
