Christine Lampard lets her stepdaughter do her make up – and shares the results online

She didn't do a bad job either

| Updated:

Christine Lampard certainly loves her stepchildren, especially being able to do girly things with them.

But it seemed husband Frank’s eldest child, Luna, thought her stepmum could do with a bit of a makeover and set about updating Christine’s look.

The 38-year-old presenter was pleasantly surprised with the results, and posted images to Instagram showing how talented Luna is.

She wrote alongside the three snaps: “When your gorgeous stepdaughter does you makeup better than you can.”

Sporting brown and gold eye shadow and some contouring, Christine did look quite different from her usual self.

And fans were also impressed with the 12-year-old’s handiwork.

“Well done Luna. Be proud,” said one. Another added: “Well Done Luna! Make up artist in the making.”

A third said: “How sweet, she did a fab job.”

“On point. She’s very good!” said a fourth.

Frank has two daughters with his former partner Elen Rivas. As well as Luna, they share 10-year-old Isla.

Christine and Frank, who wed just before Christmas in 2015, don’t have children of their own, and the Northern Irish television presenter recently revealed that she will never put pressure on herself to have kids.

Despite suggesting last year that she was open to exploring IVF, the brunette star has now ruled it out, after watching friends placed under strain while undergoing the treatment.

“That isn’t something we have thought about,” she told The Daily Mail’s You magazine.

“I know friends who have torn themselves apart and jeopardised their relationship because going through IVF was so traumatic and I don’t know if I could do that to myself or Frank.

“I’m not one of those women who was thinking about babies at the age of 18, and when I first met Frank it wasn’t on the agenda.

“If it happens, it happens, but right now all is well in my world as it is.”

And with two kids in their lives as gorgeous as these, we don’t blame her for being content with her lot.
