Chloe Grace Moretz opens up about “hard” split from ex Brooklyn Beckham

They split earlier this year

Chloe Grace Moretz and Brooklyn Beckham called it quits earlier this year after having an on/off relationship since 2014.

Just weeks after their split, aspiring photographer Brooklyn, 19, was pictured sharing a kiss with model Lexi Wood.

The Equaliser actress Chloe, 21, has now spoken about the photos of Brooklyn and Lexi in a new interview when asked about her break-up with David and Victoria Beckham’s eldest son.

Chloe told the Sunday Times Style magazine that “break-ups are hard across the board” and even harder when she gets tagged into stories and posts about an ex on social media.

Perhaps alluding to the intimate photos of Brooklyn and Lexi kissing, she added: “I want nothing to be said… I’m not a big fan of PDAs in general. I personally don’t want to see people posted all over my phone making out.”

Reflecting on her public romance with Brooklyn, Chloe said she’s learned to be “secretive” and “keep things quiet”.

She said: “It’s been a very big learning curve, and that was hard.”

Chloe also said she thinks it’s harder for her to date someone who isn’t in the public eye because they don’t have a similar understanding of the industry.

The model explained: “It’s nearly impossible to date someone who has no real basis in this industry, because it’s a shocking industry.”

Last month, Chloe admitted she was enjoying single life during an appearance on US show Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

She said: “I’m OK. I’m single. I’m 21, I’m single, I’m good.”

Brooklyn and Chloe dated on and off for a number of years, but rekindled their romance in September 2017 when Brooklyn moved to New York City to study photography.

However, the couple split after just a few months of dating.
