Cheryl enjoys Girls Aloud reunion with Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh for her birthday

The threesome looked delighted to be back together

Cheryl was all smiles as she kicked off her 35th birthday celebrations with her Girls Aloud bandmates Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh last night.

Taking to Instagram this morning, Nicola, 32, shared some snaps from the birthday eve celebrations and proved the three ladies are still great pals.

In the filtered selfie, Nicola can be seen on the left wearing a pale pink polo top as Kimberley, 36, cuddles up to Cheryl on the right.

Both ladies sport cheesy grins as they posed for the pic and prepared to celebrate Cheryl’s big day.

Nicola captioned the snap: “Friendship never ends. Birthday eve love for Chez last night.”

She then shared another gushy post to mark the singer’s birthday, this time a selfie of them with their friend Ama Quashie, which was taken in New York a few weeks ago.

“I took this in New York a couple of weeks ago when missy (@cherylofficial ) decided to fly out with me to support me at my show. It was the first thing I had done in a v long time and it was just another example of how lovely you are inside,” she wrote.

“And when people were surprised that you had done something so kind all I had to answer with was that’s who she is. We were all jet lagged here and over trying to take a pic but it’s the only snap I have of us.

“I know I could throw anything your way and you’d be there trying to figure it out with me. I don’t know what I’d do without you. Happy Birthday beautiful,” Nicola added.

Kimberley is yet to share her own birthday post, but it’s no secret that the three ladies have remained good friends since Girls Aloud came to an end in 2013.

Meanwhile, former bandmates Sarah Harding and Nadine Coyle were nowhere to be seen at the birthday shindig last night.

However, rumours have been rife that the five women are in talks about a possible reunion to celebrate their 20th anniversary.

The anniversary technically isn’t until 2022, but it’s alleged that Cheryl is keen to get the wheels in motion, according to The Sun.

Girls Aloud first shot to fame in 2002 after forming on ITV show Popstars: The Rivals but they went their separate ways in 2013 following the split.
