Charlotte Church swore her guests to secrecy as she married her boyfriend of seven years, Jonny Powell, under a tree in her home near Cardiff.
And now she’s shared the first picture of her surprise wedding – and the bride and groom look deliriously happy.
Looking radiant in an off-the-shoulder dress with flowers in her hair, Charlotte captioned the snap “seriously happy people”.
The couple started dating in 2010, shortly after Charlotte ended her relationship with rugby player, Gavin Henson.

Charlotte and Jonny exchanged vows in September, before getting married officially at a register office in Cardiff on the October 2, with just a small group of close friends in attendance, and with Charlotte’s mother, Maria, serving as a witness.
The celebration then moved to their home in Dinas Powys, for an outdoor blessing ceremony and full celebration. They hired local florists and wine merchants for the party.
The marriage comes just couple of weeks after the couple announced that Charlotte had miscarried their baby.
According to the Daily Mail, the couple have been intending to wed for a while, with their source reporting that “Charlotte and Jonathan have been in love for a long time and a wedding was always on the cards.
“They wanted to keep things low key and swore all the guests to secrecy as they married under a tree. Jonathan has been a great influence on Charlotte, she has calmed down a lot since she met him.”
Charlotte and Jonny had announced they were expecting a child in May, before confirming in June that they had lost the baby. The announcement came with a request for respect and distance as they grieved.
She has two children from her previous relationship with Gavin – Ruby and Dexter. The pair had planned to marry before their unexpected split in 2010.

Shortly after the break up, Charlotte met Jonny, and the pair have been together ever since.
They share a home in village of Dinas Powys in the Vale of Glamorgan.
