Catherine Tyldesley shares funny throwback photo of husband and son

Alfie is just like his dad!

Catherine Tyldesley has revealed the hilarious antics that happen when her husband Tom Pitford looks after their son, Alfie.

The actress took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a throwback photo of personal trainer Tom and Alfie, when he was a baby, with shaving cream on their faces.

Catherine, 34, told her fans that is what happens when it’s “Daddy Day Care”.

Catherine captioned the pic: “#throwback… what happens when it’s ‘Daddy Day Care’… God knows what I’ll come home to tonight! #spoons.”

Fans were amused by the sweet picture, with one person commenting: “This is brill!”

Another wrote: “This is so cute!” while a third said: “Maybe you might come home with them two with shaving cream on again.”

Catherine and Tom’s little boy Alfie is now three-years-old.

Earlier this week, Catherine wowed her fans by showing off her new toned body after embarking on a 12-week training programme.

She posted two photos, one showing her before starting the programme and another showing her figure now.

She wrote: “Nearly there!! This was April after my injury… vs today at almost the end of 12 week program with #EvilSteve @upfitnesslive@upfitnesswomen.”

Praising her personal trainer, Catherine added: “Super excited to continue on my fitness journey. Feeling strong.”

Just a few weeks ago, the star revealed the motive behind her exercise programme is to be around longer for Alfie.

She said in a previous Instagram post: “It’s not about ‘perfect’ it’s about being the best I can be. For me, my family and my job.

“My number one priority in life is being on this earth for as long as possible for my son.”

“We get one body- I’m gonna take care of it!! Strength from the inside out,” she added. “Knowledge, sustainability, endorphins… doing things I never dreamed my body could achieve.”
