Carol Vorderman has shared incredible throwback photos to show just how similar she and daughter Katie looked when they were the same age.
The 57-year-old took to Instagram to post a childhood snap of herself alongside a picture of Katie, 27, when they were both 10.
In the pics, Carol and Katie looked near-identical as the former Countdown star told fans they were “laughing” at how alike they looked.

Carol captioned the post: “Awwww….We are laughing about this spooky likeness…
“Me… age 10 in blue dressing gown #1970 and my daughter Katie age 10 #2002 in the grey coat…”
Fans were quick to comment on the post with many stunned over the similarity.
One person said: “You look identical,” while another wrote: “WOW you two look so similar.”
A third added: “Wow, she is your double!”
Carol has Katie with her ex-husband Patrick King. The pair also have son Cameron, 21.
And it seems Katie also inherited her mum’s smart gene as she graduated from Cambridge university in 2015 with a Masters in Science, 30 years after Carol graduated from the same university.
Before Katie had graduated, Carol had said her daughter wanted to become an astronaut and she revealed she took her to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida to watch the final Atlantis mission for her 18th birthday.
Last month, Carol revealed Katie is now a research scientist at Cambridge.
Meanwhile last month, Carol revealed she isn’t looking for another long-term romance and is happy being single.
During an episode of Lorraine, Carol admitted she ‘couldn’t think of anything worse’ than to settle down and get married again while discussing her new series My Single Life – which celebrates woman who are single in their 50s.

Carol said she isn’t looking to find a “keeper”, adding: “We’re not all looking for keepers, that is the point. I’m not, surprise surprise. I couldn’t think of anything worse at the moment. I’ve had the best summer of my life.”
She said: “It’s not about finding someone, it’s about women and the freedom to say this is my choice, some people want to find next Mr Right and settle down and get married. We don’t all want that.”
