Brendan and Zoe announced in September that a second child is on the way.

They’re already parents to daughter Aurelia, five.

Other fans, meanwhile, expressed their disappointment and sadness over Brendan not being a part of BBC’s Strictly any more.

Brendan announced last month he was hanging up his dancing shoes on Strictly after being dropped by the show.

After 15 years on air, Brendan revealed the news of his Strictly axe during an appearance on ITV’s Lorraine.

He was visibly emotional as he told host Lorraine Kelly: “The BBC haven’t renewed my contract – we get renewed year on year – and they made an editorial decision not to have me back on the show.”

“I’m a little bit in shock,” he added. “It’s done via a process of a phone call and stuff. I have had 15 incredible series on the show. It’s a great team.”

His departure left fans utterly devastated as well as his former show mates.

It Takes Two host Zoe Ball said Brendan’s exit marked “the end of an era.”

However things could be looking up for Brendan, after a report claimed former Strictly head judge, Len Goodman, has put in a good word for Brendan on the American version of the show Dancing With The Stars.

But for right now, he’s focusing on family life and preparing to become a doting daddy again.
