Brad Pitt and son Maddox finally reunite after month-long standoff

Actor and the 15-year-old meet for first time during bitter custody battle

Brad Pitt has reunited with 15-year-old son Maddox following a month-long stand off, according to reports.

The pair met for the first time since Angelina Jolie filed for divorce, TMZ reported.

It’s thought the meeting was their first since the infamous plane incident – in which he allegedly attacked Maddox during a row.

The September 14 incident is believed to have sparked the shock divorce, although Pitt has denied the claims.

The actor has already had visits with his other five children, supervised by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services, which is currently investigating him.

It comes after reports claim the A-list couple have had no contact since their split.

It’s believed that Jolie, 41, wants sole physical custody of the their six kids while Pitt wants joint custody.

Their negotiations are being handled by their teams, according to People.

A source told the magazine: “Brad and Angie haven’t had any contact, and it’s all being worked out via their teams.

“It’s just a sad situation.”

Jolie blindsided Pitt when she filed for divorce and moved into a rented home with their six children in September.

The couple have been together for 12 years and married for two.

As well as Maddox, the couple are parents to Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, ten, and twins Vivienne and Knox, eight.
