Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie ‘reuniting’ – but divorce will likely go ahead

When the couple split last year after 12 years together, many thought that was the end of ‘Brangelina’…

When news of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s split came this time last year, their friends and fans around the world couldn’t believe that one of Hollywood’s most successful power couples were no more.

But according to several news sources, and the couple’s biographer, that could be about to change.

In The Mail On Sunday, biographer Ian Halperin revealed that after ten months apart, the pair met at a neutral location for the first time since the split.

“Brad took the first step forward, then they collapsed into each other’s arms. There were a lot of tears, nothing was left on the table,” he said.

“In that moment they decided to make a fresh start.

“It was a ‘come to Jesus meeting’ that marked the beginning of a new phase in their relationship.”

News about the apparent rekindling comes after it was reported that Brad had finally made peace with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston recently, apologising for what happened with their marriage.

But just because Angelina and Brad have realised they are actually happier together than apart, that doesn’t mean that the divorce won’t happen.

Ian said: “They both view divorce as not the worst thing that can happen. It’s only a piece of paper and they feel once the divorce is done, they have a clean sheet and can start their lives anew.”

Brad told GQ magazine earlier this year that he took ‘full responsibility’ for the marriage breakdown, blaming his dependence on alcohol and marijuana for the explosive row with their 16-year-old son Maddox which apparently finally put an end to the couple’s relationship.

Hopefully Brad and Ang can now put the bad times behind them and revive their relationship once more.
