Big Brother star says she feared for her life after terrifying ordeal

Intruders allegedly demanded cash, jewellery and designer handbags

Former Big Brother star Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace has spoken of her terror after being confronted in her London home by masked intruders.

The 39-year-old claims she feared for her life when the men – one of whom was suspected to be carrying a gun – broke in and demanded she hand over cash, jewellery and designer handbags.

The reality TV star told The Sun she was having a quiet Monday night in at the beginning of March and was about to go to bed when there was a knock at the door.

She recalls: “I started screaming and three men barged into my corridor and crowded around me. They were asking for money and my watches.

“I was terrified and I was only wearing thin pyjamas so I thought they were going to rape me.”

Aisleyne said she screamed and begged for her life which caused the men to flee – but not before they’d made off with her Rolex watch and expensive bags.

The glamour model said she now knows how Kim Kardashian feels after she was targeted in similar circumstances in Paris two years ago.

In both cases, the women had made posts alluding to their wealth on social media before being targeted.

Aisleyne, who found fame on Big Brother in 2006, had shared two stories to her Instagram before the robbery, sharing her pride at earning her own money.

In her interview with The Sun, Aisleyne said she’d learnt her lesson and would be more guarded about what she posts online from now on.

After giving the interview, Aisleyne took to Instagram to defend herself, after apparently receiving some nasty remarks about the incident.

She wrote: “I’ve come from nothing. If I choose to have nice things I am fully within my right to do so. If I choose to inspire through my story of rags to riches I AM FULLY ENTITLED.”

The police are currently investigating and Aisleyne appealed for any information that could help them.

On Twitter she wrote: “If anyone has any information please tell the police. I can’t put into words how I feel xx.”

She added via Instagram: “If anyone knows ANYTHING please help the police with their investigation. I personally want to thank the detective in charge he’s gone above & beyond to help me through this.”

“One of the men involved is suspected of being armed with a firearm. The incident took place at 23:25hrs on Monday, 5 March. The victim was shaken but unharmed. No arrests have been made. Enquiries continue.”

Aisleyne has since had her front door replaced and wrote on her Instagram stories last night that she’s starting to feel better.
