Becky Vardy reportedly makes a cheeky joke about Peter Andre

Oh, Mysterious Girl

One great thing about I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is that you learn all sorts about the contestants.

With little to do in the jungle but flick away bugs and cook rice, the campmates often settle down to some interesting conversations.

And of course, as public interest in them is so high, all sorts of tidbits come to light in the press as well.

One bit of gossip we found very interesting, and placed in the “wonder how they met?” file was the revelation that Becky Vardy had allegedly enjoyed a fling with Peter Andre, many moons ago.

Rumour has it that way back in 2001, Becky and Pete had a quick fling after meeting at a restaurant.

Way before Becky met husband Jamie Vardy and Pete met wife Emily MacDonagh (or even his first wife, Katie Price!)

Becky reportedly said Pete was the “worst lover” she’d ever had – ouch!

Talking to the now-defunct News of the World paper about the fling, Rebekah – then with her original surname of Nicholson – said: “He had great muscles and I thought he’d be a great lover. But he was the worst lover I have ever had.”

No doubt it’s something that Peter would rather have remained in the past, but unfortunately the dalliance was supposedly brought up again very recently.

At the wrap party for the current series of I’m A Celeb, the mother-of-four was letting her hair down on the dancefloor.

And when Peter’s biggest hit – Mysterious Girl – came on, Becky couldn’t resist!

An insider at the party told The Sun: “Rebekah was having a lot of fun of the wrap party – but she really came alive when Mysterious Girl was played.

“Vanessa and her were dancing around together and Rebekah had a naughty grin on her face as she bopped to the song.

“She even joked that it was her ‘favourite’ as she gave a little wink towards her new jungle pal.”

Sounds like it was a pretty fun party – and clearly that night in 2001 has stayed in Rebekah’s mind for one reason or another!
