James ‘Arg’ Argent has said he’s confident he and girlfriend Gemma Collins will film their own TV series soon.
The TOWIE favourite, 30, told Best magazine the couple had their own show commissioned earlier this year but he wasn’t in the “right frame of mind” to take part.
Instead, he checked into rehab to focus on his well-being while Gemma filmed her own one-off ITVBe show called Diva Espana.
Arg, who is now back to full health, told the mag: “We had our own show commissioned over the summer but I wasn’t in the right frame of mind and, health-wise, I wasn’t ready to start it straight away.”

He went on to say the couple will revisit the plans once Gemma completes her Dancing On Ice commitments in the New Year and he finishes his pantomime run.
“Once Dancing On Ice and my panto is out of the way, I’m pretty sure we will start our own series. We have great chemistry together,” he promised.
“It will just be me and Gemma doing what we do best. I can’t go into more detail yet, but I know it will be entertaining to say the least.”
We don’t doubt that!
Gemma is currently training hard for ITV’s Dancing On Ice, which starts in January, while Arg is in rehearsals for his role in Aladdin at the Middleton Arena in December.
Former I’m A Celebrity star Gemma, 37, has vowed to blow doubters away with her debut on the ice, saying she’s been throwing herself into practise ahead of the show’s debut.

She recently told Press Association: “Despite reports, I am loving life right at the minute. I really am. I already know the opening song I’m going to come out to. It’s going to be huge. My costume is going to be amazing.
“There’s going to be fireworks. Everyone is going to pass out. It’s going to be a showstopper. You know what, I’m really enjoying it. I’m having great fun. It is exhausting but we have all got to start somewhere.”
Arg, meanwhile, praised his partner for “giving it everything” adding that he planned to turn up to her ice training sessions to provide support.

He said: “She’s working her butt off. She’s working extremely hard. She’s giving it everything.
“She comes in from training exhausted, passing out on the bed. She wants to know that when she’s done it, she’s done the very best she can. I won’t be out on the ice but I’ll be at the training.”
