Jeremy McConnell confirmed as father of Steph Davis’ son Caben-Albi

The pair are back in contact and having secret meet ups

| Updated:

After it was revealed that Jeremy McConnell was in fact the father of Steph Davis’ little tot, Caben-Albi, the former couple have put their differences aside to focus on their son.

Following their split in April last year, the post-relationship contact was most definitely turbulent.

The Irish model was told by fans to “man up” and take responsibility of his son, but Jeremy wasn’t convinced he was the dad.

But, after initiating a paternity test on ITV’s daytime show, This Morning, Jeremy confirmed the news that he is the father; he posted photos of Caben on social media and said he is the “happiest man alive”.

Although there hasn’t been an official statement from the pair confirming the results within a few short days, Steph and Jeremy had followed each other on social media and are now having “secret meet ups”.

Could this mean they might rekindle their romance?

A source told the Sun: “Stephanie and Jeremy are back on speaking terms.

“They’re trying to rebuild a civilised relationship for the sake of Caben – they both knew that the situation had to change for things to move forward.

“It’s going to be a slow process but they’re gradually heading in the right direction”.

The source added: “A few of their friends still think something might even happen between them again in future”.

After finding out he was the dad to Caben, Jeremy went out on a celebratory drink.

Meanwhile, Steph took to Twitter on Valentine’s Day to share a message for someone special.

She shared a picture of a glittering heart with a caption saying: “Each and every moment is precious. Appreciate simplicity.

“Be grateful and authentic in everything you do. Cherish those you love”.
