It was recently ‘confirmed’ by The Sun that Ant McPartlin will be returning to work in January 2019.
The tabloid stated he will be back alongside his presenting partner Dec Donnelly in January filming Britain’s Got Talent auditions, before hosting the live shows later in the year.

Ant has been absent from TV for the past eight months following a well-publicised drink-driving accident which happened back in April.
He stepped down from filming commitments missing the last few shows of Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
He spent some time in rehab recovering from alcohol issues as well as his addiction to pain killers.

The announcement has had mixed reaction from social media followers.
Many were happy to hear the news of his return.

Disgusting. I’m sick of all the sympathy he gets because he’s Ant from Ant and Dec. He shouldn’t be allowed on TV again after what he’s done. Not exactly a role model for the young audience that watch.
