Angelina Jolie’s former nanny has come out as firmly Team Brad – saying that the actress is demonizing her ex and using the kids as a weapon against him.
Krisann Morel, who cared for the star as a child, is now begging the actress to end her war with Brad Pitt.
The 63-year-old said she is worried that history is repeating itself and Jolie will cut Pitt out of their kids’ lives – just as her mother Marcheline Bertrand did with her famous dad Jon Voight.
“I’m speaking out because I want to send a message to Angelina, who I care about very much,” she told DailyMail.com.
“I want to tell her, ‘Please don’t cut Brad out of the children’s lives. Don’t use the children as weapons in your divorce. And don’t demonize your husband’.
“Because that is exactly what your mother did when she was breaking up with your father.”
She added: “And the result was you had a lonely and traumatic childhood.
“Why would you inflict the same tragedy on your kids?”
The nanny said she was worried the star was “repeating the same mistakes her mother made” and wanted to get the message to her “before it is too late”.
Jolie, 41, blindsided Pitt when she filed for divorce from Pitt, 52, on September 19 after 12 years together.
The shock divorce announcement also came amid rumors that Pitt was cheating with actress Marion Cotillard, 40 – which both sides denied.
It was claimed days afterwards that she ended the marriage because Pitt was abusing alcohol and weed – and had allegedly launched a drunken attack on their 15-year-old son Maddox.
The couple have five other kids Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10 and twins Knox and Vivienne, eight.
