Amy Childs gives away “jealous” dog following birth of daughter

The star's poor pooch has been kicked out her home

Former TOWIE star Amy Childs has revealed she’s given her pooch Leo away because he’s too “big” and “jealous” of her newborn daughter Polly.

Despite being devastated that Leo can no longer stay at her home Amy admitted she has “to put Polly first”.

But the mutt hasn’t gone too far and is staying with a couple, who are good friends with Amy.

Writing in her New! magazine column Amy said: “He’s been my baby for three years, but he was so big and got a bit jealous, and I have to put Polly first.

“He has gone to a lovely couple who are my good friends.”

She added: “It’s broken my heart, though. I can’t even visit him at the moment as I know I’ll get really upset and stressed.

“I know he’s happy, but I do miss him being around.”

Amy, 26, previously spoke about how they were planning to introduce Leo to Polly.

She said: “We’ll introduce [Leo] to the baby slowly as we won’t want him to get jealous or feel left out.”

The reality star recently showed off her four-week-old tot on ITV’s This Morning last week.

The Essex beauty cradled adorable Polly as she opened up about her “horrific” labour.

Host Holly Willoughby asked the star: “How are you finding it being a new mum?”

To which Amy replied: “Do you know what I’m absolutely loving it. I knew that I’d love her more than anything but I just can’t believe how much I love her.

“It’s just unconditional love.”

The new mum told the hosts: “But listen the labour was horrific, it was awful.

“People say you will forget about that pain but I will never forget that pain, ever.”

“It was 27-hours and it was just awful but at the end of the day look what you get out of it,” she added.

Amy and partner Bradley Wright welcomed Polly into the world in April.

But neither of them announced the news on social media.

Instead Amy’s close friend Binky Felstead announced the exciting news of the couple’s beautiful new arrival on social media just hours after Polly was born.

Binky wrote on Twitter: “EEEEEK congratulations @MissAmyChilds !!!!! Wishing you & your new little family all the best and happiness in the world! So exciting!!”

To which Amy replied: “Thank you Hun she is perfect.”
