The cage fighter has had enough

We always knew that former couple Katie Price and Alex Reid would never be the best of friends, but now it seems clear their post-marriage relationship is more toxic than ever

This week, Alex Reid has revealed he is considering taking legal action against his ex after she revealed that she had been showing her mates pictures and video tapes of him which she described as “disgusting”.

Speaking to Heat magazine she said that she was sick of Alex harping on about their relationship and reminded him that she had the pics and footage in her possession.

“The amount of stories [Alex] has done on me, but he forgets what videos and pictures I have of him,” she told the magazine.

“All of my friends have seen them, but not once have I put these videos out.

“One, it would disturb everyone to the grave, and number two, they’re not flattering, they’re disgusting.

“You look at them and you’re disgusted.

“So, it doesn’t matter what he does, I would never sell my soul and say, ‘Wow, do you want to see this?’

“I will never, ever, over my dead body do it, because I wouldn’t stoop to that level.”

The cage fighter, who was spotted leaving a police station this week, said her comments have made him feel like a victim of revenge porn and he is now considering involving the authorities.

“After seven years of bullying, harassment and threats I’ve had enough,” the occasional actor told the Sunday People.

“I’ve been persecuted and it has to stop somewhere.”

He also went on to claim that some of the images Katie has mentioned were taken when he was drunk and without his consent and says he feels like her comments are an “attack” on him.

He says Katie is now breaking a written agreement that the pair of them made when their twelve month marriage came to an end in which she agreed never to talk about the pictures.

“She has signed all sorts of things, admitted in front of lawyers and barristers and the law,” he said.

“I believe she has flaunted it and broken it and I’ve basically had enough. I am ready to do this properly.”

Katie and Alex married in Las Vegas in February 2010 and filed for divorce a year later.

Although Alex, who is now happily engaged to Nikki Manashe, has maintained that he would like to put his marriage behind him, Katie has constantly mentioned him in interviews and in her books.

Last December, Alex hit back at Katie on social media after she spoke about Roxanne on Loose Women.

She’d sniped that Eddie Redmayne’s role in The Danish Girl, where he played one of the first people to go through a surgical sex change, reminded her of Alex.

He branded her a “spiteful bully” and said: “[You] would think in six years you’d of got bored talking about me. There’s a reason you have no friends.”

Meanwhile, over the weekend, Alex put on a happy face to celebrate his birthday and paid tribute to his beloved Nikki for all her support.

“Just before I go to bed… want to thank my lady @miss_nicola_ for my birthday weekend,” he wrote.

“I’ve had such an incredible 48 hours with her standing by my side, supporting me, helping me see what real love and kindness is, it’s amazing what I thought was happiness was nothing but the complete opposite.

“You truly make me laugh every single day, your kind soul and generous nature and loving personality along with being super hot makes me smile every single day.”
