Viewers accuse Big Brother housemates of being bullies

Fans upset by the housemates ganging up on one particular chap

As we all know by now, Arthur Fulford has left the Big Brother house.

And from what we saw of last night’s episode we can’t blame him. We’d be straight out of there too.

While there is no doubt the posh lad brought a lot of trouble on himself by rubbing his housemates up the wrong way, some viewers felt he was actually a victim of bullying.

Throughout the episode, Arthur fell foul of some of the housemates, especially after he deliberately spilt food all over the floor when he was unable to get a carrot from the locked store room.

At various points during the day he was taken to one side for a chat about his behaviour,  by cockney Joe and Lotan.

However, it was with Ex On The Beach star Kayleigh that Arthur had his biggest confrontation.

After an angry exchange between the two of them, Arthur accused her of bullying him.

But Kayleigh didn’t take too kindly to the accusation and hit back in an expletive-filled rant that resulted in Arthur storming out and into the garden.

Lotan Carter tried to calm everyone down gave Arthur some advice about how to deal with certain situations.

But the words fell on deaf ears and Arthur went 0n to  Kayleigh: “I’ve given my life to women but I’m telling you now, you’re not a woman.

“There’s no way any woman would behave this way.”

Fit to burst with rage, Kayleigh shot back: “Leave me the [bleep] alone.

“You are playing a silly little [bleeping] game, [bleeping] pissed me off you little weirdo. I’m going to make your life hell!”

In spite of the fact Arthur had brought some of it on himself, viewers took his side.

One angry viewer commented; “Horrendous behaviour in the house the way they are treating Arthur is bullying. BB this is difficult to watch.”

“The only housemate I like now is gone. After BB Arthur’s exit tonight or tomorrow, don’t know if I’ll stay around to watch the bullies,” another added.

A viewer called Haliem said: “I can see why Arthur left, he’s being bullied and big brother aren’t doing anything about it. Should be ashamed #bbuk”

While some viewers had sympathy for Arthur, others accused him of playing games and being “calculating”.

Quoting Arthur, one viewer tweeted; ‘My penance for the crimes I’m about to commit’ OMG Arthur is like Frank Underwood levels of calculating.”

In tonight’s episode viewers will finally see what made Arthur leave the house but we’re sure we won’t have seen the last of him.

Prior to Big Brother, Arthur enjoyed a small telly profile after he appeared in a number of other reality shows, including Life Of Toff and The [bleeping] Fulfords, in which he was joined by his family.

Big Brother continues tonight on Channel 5.
