Troubled EastEnders star Danny Dyer flees the country

Soap star has reportedly been placed on an enforced break

It’s not been a great week for EastEnders hard man Danny Dyer.

And to escape his woes he has fled the country.

The party-loving actor had, allegedly, been ordered earlier in the week to take some time out from the show after show bosses grew concerned about his behaviour.

According to reports, they had been upset by his drunken behaviour at the NTAs in January and his constant mood swings on set.

Now it’s been reported that the wide boy actor has headed off to South Africa.

According to a beady eyed eyewitness: “Danny was spotted boarding an evening flight by himself last Thursday.

“He had a porter dealing with his luggage, but other than that he was flying solo,” the spy told The Mirror.

“He was flying first class and sat in the lounge on his iPad drinking a couple of beers.”

The ‘source’ also reliably revealed to the paper that a flight attendant kept Danny topped-up during the long journey.

Producers are, reportedly, hoping his time away will Danny calm after Danny’s behaviour on set spiralled  out of control over the last months.

Although producers are not best pleased with his behaviour, they understand that he is the show’s biggest star so are keen to keep him calm and don’t want to lose him entirely.

Danny’s sudden departure has, apparently, left EastEnders producers and writers in a tizzy.

They now have to hastily rewrite scripts and rethink storylines that Danny’s character was involved in.

“Having Danny off is a total nightmare — it causes total chaos for both the writers and producers,” a show source told the Sun.

“The storylines are worked out months in advance and no one was expecting him to be off. A lot of scripts had to be torn up and it’s caused a lot of behind-the-scenes chaos.

“It’s all anyone is talking about on set.”
