Viewers were left stunned as host Phillip Schofield hinted at the fee This Morning paid for Paul Burrell to speak exclusively on the show.
Princess Diana’s former butler joined Phil and Holly to discuss his life with his new partner and their upcoming wedding.
But host Phil let slip how much they were paying Paul to appear – a figure close £20,000 and £30,000!

As the interview came to an end, Phil asked Paul if he would be taking a magazine deal for his upcoming wedding.
Paul responded by saying: “I must answer you.
“One thing that’s worrying me about getting married in a couple of weeks’ time is the security of it.”
The 58-year-old added: “Now everybody knows when it is going to be and where it is going to be, what do I do about that?
“I need to control it. I will need security. If that comes at a cost then that will have to come at a cost.”
As Phil questioned how much security would be, Paul said: “I don’t know, nearly £20,000 or £30,000.”

Phil shot back: “So nearly as much as we paid you for this interview.
“You don’t need a magazine deal, we’ve bought your security.”
Paul laughed: “I’ll hold you to that.”
