This Morning viewers excited at Phillip Schofield’s latest co-host

It was a very special reunion

Phillip Schofield has once again hosted This Morning without presenting partner Holly Willoughby as she’s still not feeling well.

But viewers were more than happy with today’s stand-in host.

For the first time in 24 years Phil was joined by former Saturday morning TV co-host, 58-year-old Sarah Greene, to present Tuesday’s installment of the show.

Phil and Sarah first presented Going Live! in 1987 but haven’t hosted together on-screen since – until now.

It was announced yesterday that Holly wouldn’t be joining Phil to host the show as she’s been struck down with a sickness bug.

Viewers expressed their excitement for the reunion on Twitter.

One wrote: “Omg total retro birthday treat for me today.”

“I’m delighted to see @RealSarahGreene back on the telly – think she’s fab! Should be on far more often,” another gushed.

A third added: “OMG…throwback Tuesday!! Sooo good to see you both together again. Especially good to see @RealSarahGreene on our screens again.”

The ITV show certainly hasn’t disappointed in the choice of stand-in presenters.

Yesterday viewers saw Rylan Clark-Neal take over presenting duties alongside Phil and the pair had fans of the show in fits of laughter.

Speaking about the last-minute change of plans Rylan revealed: “I was in bed an hour and 20 minutes ago.

“I don’t know what’s going on.”

Phil joked: “I got a text saying Rylan is coming in, and I said I’d present it on my own.”

The show was full of endless laughter and they definitely proved to be a favourite presenting pairing.

One viewer watching from home wrote on Twitter: “Phil and Rylan is the best pairing ever… got me in stitches already #ThisMorning.”

And they were definitely missing the hilarious duo on today’s show.

One wrote: “I thought @Rylan did a great job yesterday? Someone didn’t agree did they?”

Another said: “Noooooooooo Bring back Rylan!!! @Rylan #ThisMorning.”
