Strictly curse strikes again as star couple battle to save marriage

Another one bites the dance floor dust?

The 18-year marriage of Louise and Jamie Redknapp is reportedly in jeopardy.

It is alleged that their relationship has come “under strain” since the former singer’s turn on last year’s series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Louise and footballer-turned-commentator Jamie, parents to sons Charlie, 12, and Beau, eight, are said to be battling to turn round this rumoured bad patch, which has come after the ex-Eternal star spent months away on the Strictly tour.

“Strictly’s put the marriage under some strain. She’s been on the road for several months and only came home this month,” an apparent source told The Sun.

“They still love each other and are desperate to make it work. They’re determined to get through this.”

When she signed up for last year’s Strictly, Louise – who was partnered with dance pro Kevin Clifton – was confident she would not fall prey to the so-called curse.

The 42-year-old stated in an interview: “After so many years it’ll take more than Strictly and a sparkly leotard to cause problems.”

The Sun’s report added that no third party was involved and that the couple will not be involving lawyers.

Hopefully a little bit more time together as a couple and family will soon put them back on the right track.

Rumours of their difficulties certainly adds more fuel to the notion that the popular show puts a hex on their love lives of its competitors.

Numerous celebrity dancers have seen their relationships crumble after appearing on the BBC favourite.
