Sinitta in talks to host brand new chat show ‘to rival Loose Women’

This show "could help to change the face of British TV"

Sinitta might be head panellist for a new TV show that is set to feature an all-female cast.

The show, to be called The Raw Deal, will focus on all topics surrounding ethnic diversity and will be a platform for issues affecting black women.

According to The Sun, the 80s pop sensation has already filmed an episode.

“Sinitta has had several big meetings with channel execs.

“The idea is a very fresh one and the ladies have already recorded a pilot show. It could help to change the face of British TV.”

Joining the 53-year-old is Shaznay Lewis, presenter Sarah-Jane Crawford and stunning model Talulah-Eve Brown.

Could this show threaten the ITV ladies at Loose Women?

Last year, the lunchtime panel show was surrounded by reports that ratings had plummeted.

It was also said that their producers had to pull people off the streets to fill the studio.

Tickets for Loose Women are free, but as demand dipped, it meant that bosses had to offer the empty seats to the public.

An onlooker told OK! magazine at the time: “They were having to go up to people and ask if they were happy to be in the audience for that day’s show.

“Quite a few weren’t interested but thankfully some jumped at the chance.”

The chat show hasn’t won an award since winning Best Daytime Programme in 2010 either.

However, audience members are always singing their praises.

One recently tweeted: “such a fab show today, first time thought it was great! My sister been 3 times & said today was the best show! [sic]”.

Another said the show was “brilliant”.

With 21 series now under its belt, and it clearly being a favourite with people across the UK, we don’t see the show going off air any time soon.
