The X Factor judge reveals on all US panel show

Sharon Osbourne has revealed that she suffered a miscarriage after being savaged by two vicious dogs.

The 64-year-old X Factor judge stunned American viewers by revealing the intimate secret on The Talk, the US equivalent of Loose Women.

The brave and open star told her fellow panelists, which included former Roseanne star Sara Gilbert (above),  that the tragic incident took place when she was 28 after she was mauled by her parents’ pets at their home in England.

“When I was about, oh my lord, 28, I was attacked by a Doberman Pinscher and a Bernese Mountain Dog,” she confided.

“They were my parents’ and I came into the house – then I had a very high-pitched voice – and their ears went like this (up). I walked in the door, said hello and bang.”

Sharon went on to explain how the frisky Dobermans jumped up and headbutted her before dragging her to the ground and and attacking her.

It was only thanks to her mother Hope speedily managing to drag the savage animals off her that saved Sharon from serious injury.

Though she escaped too much physical injury, she was to find out some much more tragic news when she was attended to by medics.

“I went to hospital and I didn’t know, but I was pregnant and eventually lost the baby,” she said.

“It’s the most frightening thing in the world and time goes in slow motion and fear – I was just so fearful I could do nothing. You’re like a rag doll.”

As horrific as the incident was, Sharon’s love for dogs never wavered and currently has six now.
