Peter Andre left cringing on Loose Women

They played his duet with ex-wife Katie Price

Peter Andre was left cringing during his appearance on Loose Women today as they played his duet with ex-wife Katie Price.

Pricey is set to perform her brand new single, I Got U, live on Wednesday’s show.

But it seems the Loose ladies couldn’t resist reminding Pete of his single, A Whole New World, which was released in 2006 with Katie.

Presenter Ruth Langsford wrapped up the show, which was only on air for 30-minutes due to racing at Ascot, as she said: “We have got a very big Loose Women exclusive tomorrow, remember this?”

A Whole New World then played from the speakers and the Aussie singer closed his eyes as he squirmed in his seat.

The dad-of-four then grabbed his coffee mug as he said: “I need a whole new cup of coffee I think!”

Ruth, 57, added: “Yes, Katie Price is relaunching her music career and she’s doing it right here on Loose Women.

“She’s got a brand new single set to be the sound of the summer, live here tomorrow, don’t miss it!”

Former glamour model Katie is set to release her brand new song later this month.

The mum-of-five gave fans a glimpse into the new single on her Instagram.

Posting a short clip of the song she wrote: “Have you heard my new single? #IGOTU Written by @craigcoltonuk and produced by @catchinnmusic out 30th June.”

Meanwhile Peter, who is now married to Emily Macdonagh, joined the panel as they discussed being in their prime.

The Mysterious Girl singer admitted he felt he was in his prime during his “six-pack days” back in the 90s.

As photos popped up of Pete when he was younger Coleen Nolan asked the star: “Do you consider that your prime?”

To which Peter responded: “Well I think this whole subject really depends on the individual.

“We don’t see ourselves how other people see us. I look at me now and I think I wish I looked like that.

“But actually so many people, including my wife who is so sweet, say I look better now. But of course she’s going to say that because she doesn’t want me to feel bad.”

Ruth then jumped in as she joked: “She needs glasses!”

Pete added: “Thanks for that!”

He continued: “I’m not saying I’m a rump steak now but I just believe I was better then.”

The rest of the panel were quick to comment on the subject with Coleen saying: “I used to be able to cough without wetting myself. That’s when I was in my prime.

“Physically I felt in my prime in my 30s and early 40s.

“Now that I’m 52 it’s the aches and pains and getting up.”

But fellow panellist Janet Street Porter was keen to reveal she feels in her prime now at 70.

She said: “When I look in the mirror I think my body looks great.

“I think I’m in my prime and I don’t want anyone else to say otherwise.”

Good on you, Janet!
