This Morning viewers call for Phil to be replaced

Move over Schofe!

Watch out Phillip!

This Morning viewers just couldn’t get enough of Ore Oduba when he made his debut presenting the show alongside Holly Willoughby.

If fans of the programme had a Strictly Come Dancing scoring paddle they would surely be giving a golden 10 out of 10!

Ore stepped in for Phillip Schofield who has taken leave from the show for filming commitments.

He may however regret this decision as Ore hit it off with viewers who now want him instead!

People at home were instantly impressed with the BBC broadcaster’s charm and natural presenting skills, despite admitting he was nervous.

He said: “I’m a little bit like an excited child… You know when a child meets their hero.”

During his time on the show, Ore acquired the help of This Morning’s life coaches Nik and Eva Speakman to help “cure” his irrational phobia of birds.

He said: “I have a lifetime of crippling fear of birds. Nik and Eva have very kindly spent a bit of time with me to help me get over this.

“My wife has a problem because we can’t eat outside. So this is for me and my wife. I can’t rationalise it… Nothing happened in my childhood.”

Although they spoke to him for about 20 minutes and tried their best, it appeared that he was still very scared of birds after he was introduced to a parrot.

Speaking of how excited he was to be on the show, he said: “I’m really excited to be hosting This Morning with Holly.

“I’ve watched and loved the show for years. For me, it’s one of TV’s crown jewels.”

He added: “I can’t wait to meet the team and huge thanks to Phillip for allowing me to hop into his seat for the day.”

We hope it’s going to be more than a day, come back soon Ore!
