More details about Dancing On Ice Return REVEALED

Who will be sitting on the judging panel?

More information is slowly filtering through about the possible return of Dancing On Ice, including details of the all important judging panel.

With the news earlier this week that the skating show was set for a big return to Sunday nights, fans were whipped up into a frenzy of excitement.

Yesterday it was revealed ice dance legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean were in talks to comeback to the show – despite initial reports suggesting they wouldn’t.

And now details of the judging panel are coming out – and Mr Nasty himself, Jason Gardiner, is in line to sign up.

According to The Sun Online the Australian choreographer and singer is “in talks” to reprise his role on the team.

He was well known for his cutting remarks and harsh criticisms, which viewers absolutely loved – but his fellow judges, not so much!

His infamous row with Karen Barber over his comments hit the headlines in 2011 when she took him on and told him what she really thought.

Speaking to The Sun, an insider told them:

“No other dance show on ITV has been as successful at Dancing On Ice and so they’re determined to get it back on air.

“Jason Gardiner was the most popular judge by far and so he’s already in talks to come back.

“It wouldn’t be the same without Jason and so they’re determined to get him back on the panel as viewers absolutely love him.

“Producers have also had discussions with the other judges as they’re keen to get them all on board.”

ITV have remained tight-lipped on the rumours of a return for the show, but the public definitely want it.

And reports have suggested boss Kevin Lygo is very keen to bring back the show that at its peak drew in 13 million viewers.
