Lucy Beale actress spotted working behind the bar of a London pub

Life after EastEnders isn't as glam it would seem!

Life as a celeb these days can be quite hit and miss.

One minute you are starring in a high profile TV show, the next your moment has gone and you’re earning an honest crust in what some might describe as a normal job.

Well, recently regulars at a pub in Islington thought they had seen a ghost when they saw who they recognised as the very dead Lucy Beale from EastEnders.

The gorgeous lass  – real name Hetti Bywater – looked far from dead as she pulled pints for punters at the swanky bar in north London.

Unlike the likes of Michelle Keegan, the actress clearly has found it hard to find work after appearing on the hit soap.

That said, she did recently appear in Sky’s hit series Delicious opposite Dawn French and Silent Witness star Emilia Fox.

She also appeared in BBC series Death in Paradise but like most actors she’s happy to supplement her income during quiet times by rolling up her sleeves and getting down to some hard work.

“She was clearing glasses while punters watched football and smoking fags outside with colleagues,” a thirsty customer told the Sunday Mirror.

Working behind the bar seems to be a long way from when her character’s murder kept the nation on the  edge of their seats as they tried to work out who had murdered her.

In the end, viewers were stunned when Lucy’s younger brother Bobby was exposed as her killer.

It would turn out that his mum Jane covered up the killing by dumping Lucy’s body on the common and set up Max Branning for the murder, who was found guilty and later released.
