Love Island’s Dom Lever caught out and rinsed for major selfie fail

Fans have called him a liar

Dom Lever is the talk of the town after lying to his fans.

The Love Island star, who was dumped from the island last week, caused a stir after sharing a selfie on a train.

Dom was travelling and for some reason he said that he had the “train to myself”.

But he wasn’t alone at all – there was a man directly sat behind him, facing the opposite way.

Of course, fans of the reality series didn’t miss a thing.

One shared a screenshot of the photo, and drew an arrow towards a man’s head behind him.

Another wrote: “Literally someone behind you mate #loveisland”, on Twitter.

The 26-year-old was no doubt attending a really cool event in a really cool location…

On Monday, he stopped by a menswear store called Choice in Bluewater for a spot of shopping.

He shared his retail outing with his Twitter followers (because why wouldn’t you?) and wrote: “Thank you @choicestore Bluewater for hooking me up today…”

But Dom made out as if he was getting the item for free.

His followers couldn’t help but tease him, with one commenting: “What did you buy? A pair of socks?”

Another said: “what you going to do next go Greggs and thank them for hooking you up with a sausage roll?”.

And funnily enough, Choice shared a post to thank Dom for “stopping by” at their store, so no he did not get any freebies.

Why are you lying again, Dom?

Dom and his model girlfriend Jessica Shears have been papped non-stop since both being dumped from the Love Island villa.

But the smitten couple are set to join their pals at the end of this month where they will be living it up at TOWIE hotspot Sugar Hut in Brentwood, Essex.

We wonder how it will go down for ‘Muggy’ Mike Thalassitis who is said to have had a night of passion with Jess while Dom was still in the villa.

Of course Jess and Mike have denied the claims but viewers are convinced they are lying.

It’s getting closer to the final and host Caroline Flack has recently hinted that there is going to be a “big change” for the winner of the hit ITV2 reality show.

It’s been speculated that the £50,000 prize money could be given to just one Islander and won’t be shared between the couple.

Gabby Allen and Marcel Somerville have been tipped to win for the past few weeks, but Camilla Thurlow and Calvin Klein model Jamie Jewitt have taken the lead this week.

It could be anyone at this rate!

Tune in tonight at 9pm on ITV2 as the show prepares for the big finale.
