ALL the Loose Women panellists have stripped off for body campaign

Would you be brave enough to strip off and flash your bod?

| Updated:

Those Loose Women take no prisoners but they definitely all take a great picture!

And now they’ve decided to celebrate their curves, lumps and bumps just as nature made them and without embarrassment. Go for it girls!

They’ve stripped off for some near-naked pics taken and banned the photographers from airbrushing away their cellulite.

Under a huge poster of the picture in Central London they declared, rather cleverly,: “You can look but you can’t retouch!”

In a statement from Loose Women HQ said: “At Loose Women we believe in feeling good about yourself. So we’re officially launching a nationwide body confidence campaign.

“Nine panellists have stripped off and bared their bodies for the first time – without filters or airbrushing – and photographed in their swimwear by international superstar photographer Bryan Adams, who has previously photographed the most famous women in the world including The Queen and Kate Moss.”

(Don’t worry folks, her Madge probably wasn’t in a skimpy bikini – like notorious clothes-hater Katie Price!)

But Katie has thrown herself in to the campaign full throttle.

“I have produced five babies so I can’t knock my body – it’s a proper machine. There’s no body the same – I’ve got scars, they’re good memories.”

The 38-year-old continued: “We’re all imperfect, all bodies tell a story. I don’t regret any of it. Everyone should embrace who they are. At the end of the day you should be loved for who you are.”

Campaign organisers said the pictures will “…encourage ALL women, whatever age, or size, to celebrate the story their body tells.

“Whatever it is that they see as their ‘flaws’, be it a post-operative scar, birthmarks, post baby-weight or stretch marks. Because it’s ok, they are all part of what make you ‘you’.”

Curvaciously gorgeous but surprisingly shy Nadia Sawahla said, “I always hated being naked. Stepping into the studio in my bra and pants was beyond cringe.”

But the 52-year-old bouncy-haired babe managed to relax in the end. “I wanted to practice what I preach to my daughters. What the hell does it matter what we look like as long as we are smart, brave and kind!”

Celebrity Big Brother veteran Coleen Nolan, 52, surely can’t be too nervous about bearing all after being filmed for weeks on end with no makeup and no filters?

Guess again. She said: “I have a constant body battle. I often eat in ‘rebellion’. I was scared before the shoot, but I totally embraced it and my body – particularly when it came to the solo shoot.”

She hopes her pics will inspire other women with a similar body shape. “There’s no perfect person in the world – we all come in different ages, shapes and sizes and life is too short to spend it hating yourself because you not a size 8 or 21 anymore.”

Twenty-year-old mum-of-two Stacey Solomon might be young and slender but even she has hang-ups that made the shoot a bit scary.

She said: “I have lots of bits and pieces I don’t like about my body – saggy boobs and stretch marks and the thing that really bothers me is my love handles.”

Before you say she’s crazy for worrying, she has an answer for you.

“ In pictures I put my arms in a certain place, to hide them, they are so bumpy. I know people say to me “Oh, slim girl problems” – but it really bothers me.”

Never to be left out, even mouthy Janet Street-Porter had her say about stripping off.

“It’s really important to do this campaign because I want women all over Britain to learn to love their body,” the 70-year-old said. “Our bodies are brilliant – it’s your weapon!”
