Phillip Schofield was forced to reprimand Katie Price on today’s This Morning after she used the N word not once but twice.
Katie is taking on the bullies who are subjecting her disabled son Harvey to vile abuse online. She’s started a petition for tougher punishments for those who commit the crime.
Appearing on the show to promote her battle, as well as to back This Morning’s Be Kind campaign, Katie told Phil and his co-host Holly Willoughby exactly why she was doing this.

Referencing some of the offensive things her son has been called she said he was abused with the N word.
And whilst Katie’s cause was more than worthwhile, her language wasn’t deemed acceptable by viewers – especially as she repeated it again moments later.
As Katie said calling her son the N word is “just not acceptable”, Phillip intervened and told her:
“Hey, you don’t need to say that word again.”
Fans on Twitter agreed with the presenter.

But some viewers, who were rightly outraged at the abuse Harvey has been subjected to, quickly stepped in to defend Katie’s language.

Katie insisted she wasn’t trying to punish people with mental health difficulties who didn’t understand what they were saying.
And she also said she didn’t want to take away freedom: “I’m not taking away freedom of speech – everybody can say things. But you know when you’re crossing the line.”
