Jonny Mitchell deletes all of his social media accounts since leaving villa

It comes after he heard domestic charities dubbed him "controlling"

Jonny Mitchell has removed himself from social media since leaving the Love Island villa.

The 26-year-old has been inundated with negative comments throughout the show, so it comes as no surprise that he wants to ignore the haters.

He is thought to be trying to keep his head down before his return to the UK.

The head of Women’s Aid has recently blasted Jonny for his treatment towards Tyla Carr, after he said that newcomer Theo Campbell would have to prise her from his “cold dead hands”.

However, he has since said that he meant that comment in complete jest.

In an interview with The Sun Online, he told them that he wasn’t at all bothered by the accusations as he thought they were false.

“No [I’m not bothered]. I think everyone is entitled to their opinion, everyone will watch the show for an hour a day and get their own opinion, everyone is entitled to see things in a different way and that’s the beauty of living in a free country.

“I think I was always going to come out and get the negative and positive on my journey, so no I’m not letting things like that get to me.”

You sure, Jonny?

In a statement, Women’s Aid CEO Polly Neate told The Mirror: “When Johnny said that new arrival Theo would have to prise Tyla ‘from my cold dead hands’ it was not romantic.

“It did not demonstrate just how much he liked her. It was possessive and controlling.”

Oh dear.

In other Jonny news, he has said that he wants former flame Camilla Thurlow and her Calvin Klein model partner Jamie Jewitt to WIN.

A few weeks ago Camilla and Jonny rekindled their romance following a row over feminism and decided to couple up leaving viewers ecstatic.

But when new girl Tyla made her entrance Jonny’s head was quickly turned away from Camilla and he cracked on with the brunette model.

Fans were outraged and Jonny soon became the “snake” of the show.

Now outside the villa Jonny has shown there are no hard feelings between him and Camilla and has admitted he would be happy to see her and current partner Jamie take the Love Island crown.

He said: “I’d like to see Cam and Jamie win!”

Maybe he’s not as bad as everybody thinks he is?
