The troubled star gets honest with the pubic!

Most people are getting bored of the never-ending Stephanie Davis / Jeremy McConnell soap opera that constantly unfolds on social media.

And daly for us, it looks like it’s not going to stop any time soon.

Following on from his recent arrest for an alleged assault against Stephanie, their unexpected reunion and subsequent and predictable split, he has taken to social media to defend his good name and actually apologise for boring us to death over the past few weeks.

The reality star, who has been portrayed as the bad guy by the media in this insane circus, has shared a quote about supportive friends.

“I like people who understand. The type who aren’t quick to judge. You can vent to them, and labeling you will be the last thing on their mind,” he wrote.

“They don’t believe rumuors because they know there are two sides to every story. They give you chance, before they judge you.”

The message ends “They get to know who you really are, then have an opinion. I like those type of people, real people.”

He later posted another message apologising about the acres of recent coverage about him and Steph.

He wrote: “I know a lot people are sick of reading stories in the press about me and my life and have a huge dislike for me.. for the record nobody dislikes me more than me.

“I’m not perfect and I acted in a way that has been irresponsible a lot of which i feel was self reflection.

“I’ve let family, friends, management down, i just hope i can wipe the slate and come back with a second chance.

“Sometimes in this world when you’re low and you don’t really feel you have anyone and the press and people’s opinion on you are not really who you are, it’s tough to try and survive.

He went to say: “I have learnt from my mistakes. I’ve decided to take appropriate action for myself.”

While Jeremy pretty much confirmed that he and Stephanie are back together, Steph recently opened up about the real Jeremy.

“Jeremy knows that he is 100% in the wrong. And he has done things that aren’t good. But he isn’t a bad person, deep down, he’s not an evil vindictive person,” she told OK! online.

Steph went on to say that she wasn’t a “mug”, and that Jeremy knows he’s behaved “appalling” in recent weeks.

In spite of the heartache Jez has put her through of late, she maintains that she is in love with him and believes that people sometimes “hurt the people they love”.

She also admitted that although it’s not “mentally right”  – but thinks Jeremy has done what he has done because he’s “totally in despair” following the death of his father recently.
