She revealed it was causing problems in the intimate side of their relationship “it’s affecting everything”, she told the host and the horrified studio audience.

“Sugar has taken over the whole relationship. He needs to choose: me or the cereal.”

As the show flicked to footage of Cyril making a bowl of cereal in the green room viewers were flabbergasted.

They were shocked as they watched Cyril pour HALF A BAG of sugar into his bowl.

Outspoken Jeremy couldn’t believe it and said: “That’s got to be an addiction!

“That’s going to kill him.”

Viewers watching from home were also in disbelief as Mo Chugz said: “I love sugar but not to that extent that’s absolutely mental.”

During the segment, Cyril admitted his addiction to sugar was going to kill him as Jezza brought out the month’s worth of sugar Cyril was consuming.

Therapist Graham appeared on stage to suggest that Cyril wasn’t addicted but had formed a habit.

He said: “It’s an automatic process, that’s why you’re doing it.”

He added: “If you were to go cold turkey on this and not take any sugar from this point forward, which is possible to do, you’d have to replace it with something.

“I’d recommend you replace it with something healthier, with fruit.

“But you will still get cravings… Then we’d have to deal with your habit. You’d have to unlearn the behaviour.”

Jeremy ended the bizarre story by climbing into the wheelbarrow and was wheeled out by security guard Steve.
