Is David Beckham about to become the king of Hollywood?

But could it be possible that the ambitious wannabe thesp has set his sights on becoming the new James Bond now that the part is up for grabs after Daniel Craig announced he was hanging up his bow tie?

Well, he most certainly did his best impression of the super spy in a hilarious skit with James Corden on his chat show.
In the skit, David was asked to slip into a tux to ‘audition’ for the role in a series of iconic Bond scenes.
In one, the pair knocked back Bond’s favourite tipple – a shaken-not-stirred Martini – while in another they took each other on in a game of poker, which David pulled off brilliantly.
However, during another scene, James stepped out dressed as a Bond girl, resplendent in a gown and wearing long brunette wig.
Trying to remain in character David tried to stifle his laughter but unfortunately he proved he wasn’t that good an actor and let rip.
However, in fairness to David, when he was ‘on’ he really did Daniel Craig a run for his money.
Not only did he fill out that tux with aplomb he also knew how to flash that ice cool steely glare, which was enough to give viewers a shiver of ecstasy when he stared into the camera!

The hilarious sketch was part of a run of three special British episodes of James’ hit US show the Late Late.
The Emmy-award winning presenter flew from LA to shoot on location in London, so that Brit audiences had the chance to be part of the show.
