This Morning were crying tears of joy after a child cancer survivor found out she was working at the same hospital as the nurse who saved her life.
Clara Markiewicz, now 20, was just four years old when she had a rare blood cancer and was given a 50/50 chance of survival.
She underwent chemotherapy and therapy to treat her acute myeloid leukaemia, with the help of her nurse Kate Pye, now 46. But little did she know that she would be in the same staff room as her 16 years on.

Clara was inspired to become a nurse because of looking up to Kate, so they were overjoyed to be reunited all of those years later.
They both work at Southampton Children’s Hospital, where Clara is doing a placement for her nursing degree.
The nurses appeared on This Morning to share their beautiful story.
Kate said: “I saw a news feed about survivors of cancer and that was my speciality, so when that came up I was very interested.
“Up popped this face and I thought ‘I know that face’. Then I waited until the end of the clip and her name came up.”
Clara had a very rare cancer of the white blood cells in 2001, and spent a lengthy four months being treated at Royal London Hospital with her mum.
Amazingly, after undergoing a clinical trial, it saved her life and she has been cancer free since.
Kate said: “It was a long time. She was in the hospital for over six months and she was very poorly at times.
“It was my first ward managers job and when people are in hospital for that long you make really good, long-standing relationships with people.
“She was really poorly and her mum and dad were amazing throughout all of this.
“So I contacted the news team and said ‘I believe she’s training at the University of Southampton and she’s a nurse in our hospital’. So I said ‘can you give me her number’ as obviously I remembered her face.”
Clara said that at one point, she was in the staff room and found herself awkwardly staring at everybody’s name badges.
“I thought this is going to be really embarrassing if it’s not Kate but it was,” she said.
“Then she said ‘oh my gosh I think I know you’ and I said ‘I think I know you too’. And just across the room staring at each other 16 years later.”
Obviously, Twitter users were thrilled to find out the happy news.
One said: “What a great story of how nurses can make a difference to people’s lives!…”

Clara also added: “I think when you’re a four-year-old girl you look up to the big girls. I was in a very unusual environment but they became my family and friends.
“The nurses were there for you day in and day out and took such good care, they made it home.”
