There is particular concern over Larry Lamb

I’m A Celebrity bosses are said to be on high alert following news of a potentially fatal heatwave set to hit Australia this weekend.

Temperatures are likely to reach as high as 44 degrees Celsius in parts of New South Wales, where the hit show is filmed.

The Sun reports that show execs have held crisis talks to about potential risks, particularly those to older celebs in the jungle such as Larry Lamb, who at 69, is at greater threat.

Larry is already a flight risk and threatened to quit the jungle earlier this week after claiming his time in the jungle had “undone a lifetime of therapy”.

In 2009, 173 people perished in the Victorian bush fires but 374 people died in the heatwave that preceded it.

Queensland Health says it is important that your body temperature stays between 36.1C and 37.8C, anything above this may cause heat-related illness.

Keep on drinking that water, guys!

It looked like Larry had a bit of a breakdown when Jordan Banjo left the jungle on Wednesday night’s episode.

The former EastEnders actor was visibly upset at his good pal’s elimination and he openly cried as he mourned the camp’s loss.

An emotional Larry comforted by his fellow campers, including sparring partner Martin Roberts, and admitted that Jordan’s departure hit him really hard

Weeping Larry hugged Wayne Bridge as they watched Jordan leave over the bridge, and pretty much everybody else in the camp was shaken by his strong reaction, with most of the other male celebrities also shedding a tear.

But it was the viewers of the reality TV show at home that were the most rocked by his upset.

Fans took to Twitter to confess that his tears had made them cry!

We must admit, we shed a little tear too…
