Hollywood star Kevin Bacon makes huge confession on GMB

Well, THAT changes everything

Kevin Bacon is known for his hit movie Footloose, but it turns out that he doesn’t actually like the song.

Uh, well that’s awkward.

The actor appeared on Good Morning Britain on Friday morning and said that he’s grateful for how the film catapulted him to stardom, but that’s he’s grown tired of the song.

Joking around with hosts Kate Garraway, Ben Shephard and Richard Arnold, he said: “I am very happy to embrace Footloose. However, I don’t like to go to people’s wedding and be asked to dance the song.”

The American star added: “It was a great experience, it was a life-changing experience. Look, I’m grateful to have any kind of career that still lasts. The day that I stopped being a waiter, I thought to myself ‘OK, this is some version of success’ because I knew how difficult and how competitive being a working actor was. So for me to say: ‘I wish you knew me for something other than Footloose’ it lacks gratitude.”

Kate then joked: “Cancel the band. Cancel everything!” Cue the 80s outfits and dodgy dancing from Laura Tobin and Richard Arnold.

Kevin, 58, was on the morning show to promote his brand new show called I Love Dick. Yes, you read that correctly.

Of course, Mr Bacon had to make the entire team say ‘I Love Dick’ on live TV too.

Kevin, who has starred in a whopping 60 movies, also said that he “hated” being ignored when he was in disguise.

“It’s better to be well-known. Everyone complains about it, saying ‘My life is so hard’. But every day, people say ‘I love you.”

Yeah, we wouldn’t be moaning about that!

Fans were loving a slice of Bacon this morning.

“The hugely talented and rather sexy @kevinbacon on my TV… There is a god 😍😍😍😘 #GMB

Another added: “I’m supposed to be on my way to work now but I’m going to be late just to watch kevin bacon.”
