Ferne McCann’s boyfriend hunted by police for vile acid attack

The This Morning star urges her boyfriend to give himself up to the police!

What is it TOWIE girls like most in a man?

A good body? The gift of the gab? A criminal record?

Yes it seems that our favourite telly airheads fancy a man more if he has had some kind of brush with the law.

The more serious the better, it would seem.

As we know, dear Amy Childs’ fella Bradley has enjoyed some prison time for handling stolen goods.

Meanwhile, Lauren Goodger went one better and actually MET and FELL IN LOVE with her man Joe while he was actually IN prison for possession of a firearm, kidnap, blackmail and aggravated burglary!

Well, now Ferne McCann’s boyfriend is the latest bit of arm candy to have had a brush with the law.

And this one sounds nasty!

According to reports, scaffolder and businessman Arthur Collins is wanted in connection with an attack at Mangle nightclub on Monday night during which twenty revellers were doused with what has been described as a corrosive substance  – i.e. acid!

The attack took place after a confrontation between a group of men, believed to be over drugs.

The row supposedly escalated into fight and a knife was pulled.

It is then understood that twenty people were then sprayed with acid.

At the time of writing, Arthur was being sought after by police for questioning in connection with their investigations and Ferne has publicly urged him to hand himself in and cooperate with the police.

A representative for the This Morning presenter said: “Ferne is aware that the police wish to speak to Arthur Collins and the nature of the accusations against him.

“Obviously these are highly shocking and Ferne has co-operated with the police in their inquiries.

“She was not with Arthur on Sunday night; was not at Mangle; and has no direct knowledge of the events that unfolded.

“As much as anybody she wants to know the truth and urges Arthur to co-operate fully with the police and attend a police station immediately.”

According to reports scaffolder Arthur’s £1million home was raided where – allegedly – illegal firearms and a cannabis farm were discovered.

Ferne and Arthur, who have been dating on and off for over a year after meeting on Instagram (how romantic), appeared on the cover of this week’s OK! magazine in which they discussed the seriousness of their relationship was getting and how they were planning on moving in together.

“We spend every night together anyway,” Ferne said.

“Moving in is definitely the next step.

“And I know that seems a bit rushed, but when you know, you know.’

In the same by-numbers interview, Ferne stood by her man and defended Arthur’s bad boy image.

When asked about dubious comments he’d  made about drugs on Facebook several years ago, she said: “He’s a very good boy. Those Facebook posts were nine years ago. We all did silly things when we were teenagers.

“He was just a kid and a silly comment doesn’t define him and it definitely doesn’t make him bad boy.”

No, dear, but if he did – allegedly – douse people with acid, that kinda does!

She added: “He’s not like Prince Harry. is he? He’s Arthur Collins, he’s got a bit of soothing about him. He’s not a wide boy but he’s got that cockney vibe.”

The feisty Miss also went not to say that when people have warned her off him, she simply ignores them.

“I take [their comments] with a pinch of salt. They’re not going to stop saying it. What is a bad boy really? People say Danny Dyer is a bad boy but I’m sure he’s not! Arthur’s sexy. But he’s not a bad boy, he’s just Arthur.”

Okay, Ferne, keep telling yourself that.

In the same interview, Ferne says she is keen to marry the handsome fella and says she’d like a beach wedding and start a big family.

However, whether those plans are on hold for now remain to be seen.
