Emmerdale’s Laurel Thomas kisses her ex-husband Marlon Dingle in upcoming scenes – are they heading for a reunion?
Laurel has been struggling with her current husband Ashley’s dementia recently.
She’s put him in a care home as his condition had become too bad for her to cope with alone, but when she goes to visit him and takes a picnic, it hits Laurel hard that Ashley is forgetting her rapidly.
It hurts even more when it becomes apparent Ashley has grown close to another patient at the home called Maggie.
Fans had thought Laurel would turn to Ashley’s former carer, Will, for comfort, but it’s her ex Marlon whose shoulder she cries on.
Still caring deeply for her, Marlon calls in to check on her after she returns from her visit.

Upset and all over the place, Laurel leans in for a kiss when he innocently puts his arm around her.
It’s an impulsive move that she regrets instantly – especially when Sandy walks in right at that moment.
Does this mean the former couple still have feelings for each other?
Their marriage ended as a result of her drinking, and it was Ashley she turned to to get through her alcoholism, falling back in love with him.
Marlon is currently in a relationship with Carly Hope.
