Poor Adam Barton is so stressed in Emmerdale at the moment that he does the one thing you should never EVER do – wind up a murderer.

Feeling the pressure from being told he can’t have kids and worrying that his criminal record might stop him from adopting, Adam snaps at resident killer, Emma Barton.
Obviously, Emma doesn’t take the tongue lashing too well – and neither does her son, Ross, who later gives Adam an upper cut to the jaw.
But, it doesn’t look like that’s the end of the situation for Ads, when Emma overhears Moira talking about Adam’s kiss with Vanessa, while he and Victoria were briefly separated.
All together now, “We were on a break!”
Anyway, Emma quickly realises that she has some excellent ammunition if she wants to destroy Adam. Which she probably does, because she’s actually bonkers.
Will she spill the secret to Victoria?
Adam Thomas who plays Adam, told Metro.co.uk: “With Emma’s past history I think it might turn out – well, I don’t know how it’s going to turn out.

“But getting into conflict with Emma is never good. There’s some stuff that’s going to happen that’s going to be quite fun, I think.”
Probably not that much fun for your character, Ads.
The Bartons are already at war after Moira threatened Ross with the police after he tried to steal cows to cover his share in the farm.
Moira told Ross he needed to sign his share over to her to stop her from blabbing.
Emma promised Ross she’d get revenge. Could Adam and Victoria be caught in the crossfire?
