EastEnders star’s secret four-year divorce battle revealed!

Soap star reveals off screen drama

Getting divorced can be quite a slog and EastEnders star Aaron Sidwell – who plays Steven Beale – seems like a very happy man after revealing he’s finally come to the end of his own four-year battle.

Doubtless, the TV star will be celebrating in the Old Vic after reaching the end of a long and bitter road.

The 28-year-old married his love Grace Isted back in Spring 2009 but things turned sour and they split four years later.

Little did he know it’d be another four years before he could call himself a bachelor again.

The soap hunk tweeted: “After 4 years I’m finally divorced!!” adding a wine glass emoji and a champagne bottle for good measure.

He then raised a toast, saying: “Here’s to the future.”

Aaron and Grace have two daughters together, Matilda and Isla.

Aaron didn’t hang about after leaving his marriage. He’s been dating actress Tricia Adele-Turner after they met on set of the TV series, Carnaby Street.

His fans were quick to see an opportunity though, not that Tricia will feel too threatened.

One frantic follower tweeted: “Does that mean you’re available?”

Another put: “As Beyoncé once sang ALL THE SINGLE LADIES.. Form an orderly queue girlies.”

Aaron was only 19 when he married Grace but he said at the time he’d fallen head over heels for her when they met on an acting course.

It was a whirlwind romance, with some questioning whether they got married too soon but he disagreed: “We’re really happy together, so I just thought ‘Why don’t we get married?’”

And the actor said the pair couldn’t see any reason for a long engagement, adding: “We could wait for another two years or we could just do it now – and we’ve decided to go for it.”

The last four years might have made him wiser as well as older.

Meanwhile, it sounds like Aaron’s personal life has been almost as much of a struggle as his last few months on ‘Enders.

Producers have been hinting the whole Beale clan are in for a rocky ride this year but at least Aaron has found calmer waters.
